AS and A2 - does 'jelly wrestling' at cambridge uni objectify women?

here's an article about an annual event at cambridge uni which has been cancelled because of complaints that it's sexist...

what do you think?

why might people think this is an acceptable thing to do?

why might people be offended?

why might the women want to do it?

does it make a difference that this is at cambridge uni?

this story addresses issues of REPRESENTATION, POWER, CONTEXT, as well as IDEOLOGY, MODE OF ADDRESS and  - obviously - FEMINISM
